World’s largest prediction market, Polymarket predicts, VP Kamala Harris will win the Presidential Debate that is scheduled for 10 September, leaving Trump with merely 27% chances.
Even though the Presidential Debate victory does not reflect who might win the US elections, a debate victory sometimes affects the overall election sentiments, and hence, the bet captures Elections fervor well.
There were other bets around the Presidential Debate featuring topics that might find a mention in the respective candidate’s speech.
Thus, 90% believe that Harris might touch upon ‘abortion’ in the debate, 59% believe ‘convicted felon’ might be talked about, among other topics featured in the bet.
However, only 9% think Harris will bring up crypto/Bitcoin in her speech. Meanwhile 30% believe the VP will talk about AI. The sentiment kind of reminds one of a recent US Senate legislative priorities list which skipped crypto but added AI.
In a similar vein, the odds of ‘What will Trump say at the US Presidential Debate’ says that 82% believe former President Donald Trump will talk about abortion, 77% believe that he will talk about Border Czar.
14%, however, think Trump’s speech will feature opinions related to crypto. The crypto predictions in Trump’s speech are underplayed in the bet compared to how much Trump usually mentioned crypto in all his public speeches. At a recent event, Trump promised to make US the crypto capital of the planet.
