South Korea’s Upbit Lists MOCA Today, MOCA Surges

South Korea’s leading crypto exchange, Upbit, has announced updates regarding the listing and trading of MOCA, now rebranded as Mocaverse (formerly MOCA Network). Trading pairs in KRW, BTC, and USDT markets will go live on December 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM KST.

Upbit: Trading for MOCA(Mocaverse) Begins Today

According to the official notice, the ed network for trading $MOCA is Ethereum (MOCA-Ethereum). Also note that deposit/withdrawal will start within 2 hours of notice and the trading begins at 2:00 PM KST.

But as Upbit’s standard procedure, trading of MOCA comes with few restrictions to ensure a safe process. For instance, the buy limit is restricted for 5 minutes after trading begins. The minimum sell price for orders is set at 10% below the previous day’s closing price and will be restricted for 5 minutes. Meanwhile the market & reservation orders are restricted for 1 hour after trading begins.

Current Pricing (as of 10:25 AM KST on December 16) for 1 MOCA = 137.5 KRW, 0.00000091 BTC, or 0.09618 USDT.

Depositors are reminded to use the correct Ethereum network, as deposits via uned networks may lead to non-returnable errors and delays in refunds. MOCA aims to introduce secured cultural interoperability within the Web3 ecosystem through tokens and point systems.

Upbit has also cautioned s, “Deposits and withdrawals are only possible with personal wallet addresses that have completed ‘ownership verification’, and even if the deposit is made through a linked personal wallet, a deposit return may need to be processed depending on the network of the asset.”

Upbit Leads MOCA(Mocaverse) to Rise

Following the listing announcement, MOCA, rose 330.26% to $0.3772. The market cap for $MOCA has also gone up by a massive 332.96%, to $485.47 million. The 24 hour market volume for $MOCA has also gone up by a staggering 319.57%, to  $77.84 million.
